Here are some common questions we are asked:
1. Can we make payments? No, I ask for payment in full upon buying your horse. I am a small business, and need to repurchase horses to continue my ability to sell at low prices. I will take a deposit to hold any horse.
2. Can I do a trial? Again, sorry no, if you want to take the horse for 5 days, you can if a 10% deposit is made in cash or money order, nonrefundable. This is only at our disgretion, please.
3. Can I bring our trainer, instructor to try this horse? Of course, bring anyone you feel that you value their opinion in buying your horse. Remember, however, you make the final decision. This is called active responsibility. You have to be responsible for the decision you make and if this horse will ride for you and yours. . Buying horses is a personality match, only you know what fits you.
4. Does a saddle and bridle come with my new horse? No, your new horse comes with a brand new halter and I will be glad to work with you to find appropriate fitted equipment. Saddles & bridles do cost, so I have to charge you as well.
5. Are there any guarantees on horses purchased at Aichele Family Equine? Each horse is only guaranteed to be what it is the day of purchase. We will disclose any information to you we have on the horse, but I have not owned these animals all their lives, they are purchased for resell, so many come from sales. We can only tell you what we know. We also recommend everyone personally try out the horse they are interested in. We welcome buyers from out of state.
6. Does the horse I am buying have all its shots? We attempt to give each sales horse a four way shot, new coggins, worm it and have the farrier evaluate its needs. Please check with your barn or stable to see what shots are required before you have the horse delivered. You are responsible for any shots above and beyond the basic shots including west niles, stranges and rabies.
